facefuckingpalm...the self checkout, just like an auto assembly plant...where cars were built with more care 3 decades ago...
And another face palm. 2.4L turbo, eh?
Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I went out on a boat today with 5 of my friends and now I desperately want a boat of my own. The sun and fun was tiring, but somehow this was the most relaxing Sunday I've had in a loooong time. Hell, I even dislocated my shoulder twice while tubing, pulled it back into place, and hopped back on that shit like it was nothing. I've been trying to really live my life and enjoy it as much as I can lately. Some of you know I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years about 2 months ago, and needless to say I was in a bad place for that whole first month. I even got in a big fight with my parents and was briefly kicked out of the house until I begged for them to let me back and promised to change my attitude. For years I've struggled with anger issues and a generally bad attitude. But that thought of my parents finally saying they've had enough of me and the realization that I'd be sleeping in my car should that happen scared me into changinf the wat I look at life. It feels so much better to not be angry at the world all the time anymore.
So, as some of you know I was going to get some tattoos. I didn't get the Dart one yet, but I did get this. I wanted it as a constant reminder to look on the bright side of things. I was always jealous of the nice things and the fancy lifestyles of other people and I'd get mad that it wasn't me. I'd see people with things I want and wonder why I couldn't have them. But I've realized that I have it better than alot of people and I dont want to spend a single day being mad or having a pity party. Life is good, and I don't want to waste it unhappy.
This tattoo is also technically a Nas tat, it's the name of his last album in the script from the cover. The album got me through some shit.

oh man I can get through the self checkouts so much faster than any check out chick I've met.
When it's clumsy it's the human factor that's slowing it down.

So much wrong there, but refuting it would be like screaming at a black hole. Your energy would go in and have no effect, never to return again to be applied to something actually useful.
People like that are what keep my ass off facebook. Checked once or twice a week, and that's it.

Thank you! Eventually I'd like to get stuff around it but I'm not sure what yet. Having it there is such a commitment, my other one is hidden unless my shirt is off but anyone can see this since I only wear short sleeves. I had a mini-freakout the night I got it once it sank in that it's permanent and on my lower arm, but I absolutely love it now.
And yes, a 2.4T would be much much better. I love my 1.4 but I'd really love if my car was fast and I didn't have to shy away from racing Civic Sis and GTIs.

I eventually ended the argument with an "ok" because I just couldn't take his stupidity. I tend to avoid having those arguments anymore, be it on facebook or on here, but thia guy replied to a comment I made so I was sort of obligated to tell him he's smoking crack. He went on to essentially blame Dodge for the issues with the Hyundai 6-speed auto in the Dart.

Hmmmmmmm.......I'm pretty sure the more drunken human hands you have, and that's all chrysler seems to want to hire, the more chance there is for something to go wrong. Even on something as basic and primitive as the 30ish year old omni/horizon.....
Hell it never really did get that much better with the neon, but the neon was at least somewhat fun to drive if you had a decent engine picked. And now we still have some drunk/high workers building an italian based car.......HMMMMMMMMM......just saying, robots can only HELP in this case. At least italian workers drunk on wine occasionally make love to a beautiful women on the alfa romeo lines which infuses their cars with sex. I don't even want to think about the kind of love that happens in a chrysler plant. Probably busch lite infused quickies with their cousins.

Oh, im a strong believer in karma and that everything happens for a reason. If we didn't break up I wouldn't have been forced to make a positivs change in my life.
The hard part is remembering to calm down and remember a better day is coming when you're having a really shitty day.

As a native of 9 mile, and later sterling heights near chrysler's and ford's stamping plants, I can guarantee you any girl banged in an auto plant in SE michigan didn't look like Brittany Murphy.

It seems like you've got a positive attitude now which is the best thing going for you. I'm 22, bored, and still living with my parents, but I make the most of it! You and I have got it easier than countless people all over the world, and for that, I'm thankful.
This sounds stupid, but keep your head up and looking for the next thing in life. The smallest things can be exciting if you allow them to be.
Anyways, I'm drunk ranting, but I like the ink, brother. I've got a small tattoo on my wrist that basically reminds me not to be an asshole and just enjoy life in general.

I always liked your posts, boots. I have some of the same problems and reading this does lift my spirits a bit as well. :)
This has been my wallpaper for a long time, basically serving the same purpose as your tattoo. I stare at the computer screen for a lot more time than I stare at various bits of my body anyway.
